FIRE DETECTION
Sensitive smoke detectors protect all passenger and technical areas. The fire detection system controls the elevators, the ventilation, the fire dampers and the automatic extinguishing systems.
GAS DETECTION
Hydrogen presence in batteries room is detected by our sensitive gas detectors before the air reaches the lower explosion limit automatically actuating the ventilation system.
SYSTEM INTEGRATION & CONTROL
Special software helps to localize on plan views the exact place of a fire alarm, indicates and prints the shortest way for a quick intervention of the fire brigade.
PA & VOICE EVACUATION
The public address system is controlled by the station master and by the central control room, announcing live and prerecorded messages, music and other instructions. In the case of a fire, passengers are invited to evacuate the station by a clear voice announcement instead of sirens that lead to panic.
CCTV
High definition cameras provide a complete visual control of a station from the entrances to the platforms and to the technical areas. Special software will identify baggage that has been left unattended, and that could therefore possibly contain an explosive device.
TIME DISPLAY & DISTRIBUTION
The central clock control system shows the exact same time to all clocks and takes care to synchronize all devices and systems like ticketing machines etc. Additional clocks may be installed and connected in “plug-and-play” fashion at any time and will automatically adopt the master clock time display.
AUTOMATIC FIRE EXTINGUISHING
Extinguish even the most sensitive areas as signaling equipment with care and without leaving any residues by using Inergen, Argon, CO2, Aerosol etc.
ACCESS CONTROL
In high-security areas as the cash counting area, the access control system controls doors , gates and bars.
